Case Study :: Slotline Golf Clubs
Slotline had a new driver that flew into the face of the"oversized clubheads" that have dominated the golf driver market over the past several years. Slotline wanted to make a statement that"bigger isn't always better."
The spot, created with the ad agency Kaiser McEuen, took a humorous approach; mocking the"mentality" of gravitating to larger and larger clubheads by showing a weekend foursome mocking one of their members for having a small clubhead. When the player hammers the ball almost all the way to the green, the group takes distinct notice.
The Slotline Hammer was introduced with this successful humor campaign. Tom McEuen and Michael Kaiser were ecstatic with the ensuing sales results.
